I have fallen in love again...

...i wasn't lookin' for a new love... i was just lookin' for new patio furniture... that's how the best love happens they say, you know, when you aren't even lookin' for it...  i could give you all the details but it really isn't that exciting... i will tell you that Michael is pretty happy about it... my new love saved him a few dollars and kept me busy most of the past weekend which freed up his time to go golfing with the boys... i have to say though that after i was finished with my new love i was super exhausted... i was up late two nights in a row... the neighbors probably think me crazy... i tried out my new love in the front yard... oh the positions they found in me, whew, i didn't know my body could still bend like that... and boy was i hurtin' the next day...

my new love is very inspiring and diverse... durable and easy... and sooo much fun... what we created together this weekend was so fulfilling and i can hardly wait to do it again... i am thinking sometime after Easter... i have to wait until then in order to find a few new things for us to work our magic on... we are just so good together...

i should probably introduce you... my new found love is Krylon spray paint... my goodness, now you didn't think i meant anything else did you?  For shame...  now let's get back on track and let me show you what i did this weekend...
I started with what looked like this...

and when i was finished i had this....

i couldn't stop with the patio furniture...
i found this table in the basement...
i was so excited that i didn't get a "before" picture...

and it didn't stop there either... i took the outside light fixtures down and sprayed them with the "hammered" look spray paint... so cool... but i have to admit that was a chore and i won't be doing it again...

as you can see in the pics i made new cushion covers also (i cheated with the pillows, i bought them at Target)... and the cute little tablecloth on the table... i made that too... see i told you it was inspiring...

my porch is so inviting that i finally met one of the neighbors... she came over and sat for awhile on my "new" furniture... she wanted to "introduce" herself... however i think she came to support my new love... she mentioned her rain barrel was peeling and needed a new coat of paint...

"Oh, Krylon... my love! Let's take a walk next door!"

I am happy to have you bring your Krylon over here!

That furniture looks FABULOUS! It is inviting. I want to have coffee and chat for a while. Ahhhh!

Great, great job!

GREAT job!!!

You and Mom must have been in a cushion mood--she finally got cushions for the chair y'all found on the Crawl last summer at Pier1.

Wow!!! I love to see little projects like this. You saved money and did the "green" thing by not letting those old chairs go to a landfill. Way to go! :)

WOW,amazing transformation! The last time I tried to spray paint a bench, I had more pain on the lawn than on on the bench-fun Blog.

Wow, that furniture looks beautiful now! My patio furniture is starting to look pretty weathered. I'm going to have to try that pain this Spring. Thanks Holly! And thank you to Holly's new muse! ;)

Wow, I can see why you have fallen in love but you are incredibly talented too. Wish you could come over and use Krylon here.
