Who said nothing good happens after midnight?

At 12:01am on July 20 there will be a joyous event happening on Court Street in Woodstock, VA!!! If i could get away with a marching band and parade i would certainly be planning it... balloons would be released and confetti would fall from the sky... there would be clowns and circus acts... and a fireworks display that would make Walt Disney jealous!!!!

None of that of course is going to happen but what is going to happen will be just as wonderful, if not more...

At 12:01am a new journey will begin... for a changed person... she is spiritually different ~ she is physically different ~ she is situationally different...  yet she is the same person that left us 10 months ago... she is beautiful and loyal, funny and witty... she is a good cook and a wonderful mommy!!! (read this post...)

At 12:01am the end to a long, challenging 10 months will finally be here... and my mom can go back to celebrating holidays ~ she has been "presently absent"... my Dad can get a good night's sleep and reclaim his Saturday afternoons... sisters can hug sisters and more campfire memories will be made ~ turkey heads in place... friends can catch up with friends... and i can finally get back to being the "nice mommy"!!! (read this post ...)

But the most joyous of events that will take place at 12:01am are not the ones that can be seen or heard... only felt... by little hearts... the broken will begin to heal and the lost will find its way home and the littlest of them all will fall in love, again...

At 12:01am on July 20...my sister is coming home!!!

And if we thought 10 months was a long time, the last 12 days are going to take forever...
